Kernel   :               Good Morning Mr Aldy, please sit down. My name is Kernelio and I am the director in this company.  So, please tell me about yourself.

Aldy       :               Allright, Mr Kernel, it’s a pleasure for me to meet you. My name is Yoel Aldy Marthin Tobing. I’ve just graduated from Gunadarma University last year majoring in Business. I have worked for Mandiri Bank as Business Development Head for 6 months. I’m very passionate type of men and I do love make connections with other people and very good at it.

Kernel   :               Its such an impressive remark of you to get the head position at one of the biggest bank in Indonesia within a short period of time. Tell me, Why are you looking for another job?

Aldy       :               Bank Mandiri is a great company yet it seems that in the next two or three years there wont be any oppurtunity for me to reach the management at top level. Since im a dynamic type of person and not the static one, i consider myself that I am ready to change and it is time for me to explore new opportunities for career growth.  Your company and the position that is available Sir, seems to be all that I need and looking for. 

Kernel   :               If you get hired, I will be your boss. What is your impression of me?

Aldy       :               From my obervation, it seems that you are smart and energetic. Highly capable man that able to breakthorugh any obstacles and problems within the company.

Kernel   :               Mr Aldy, How long do you intend to stay in my company?

Aldy       :               I intend to stay as long as I’m engaged and and productive with my job, my boss, and my company.

Kernel   :               Ok. I think thats enough from me. Do you have any questions for me?

Aldy       :               What is this company culture?

Kernel   :               We value integrity, honesty, professionalism and determination. Every staff that working here is united as one big family that will strive under any circumstances to achieve the goal that are already set. In my opinion you are one of the most potential to be hired in our company. Let me take care of your legal status and in the next 3 days, I will call you.

Aldy       :               Thank you, Mr Kernel.

Bahasa Inggris Dalam Bisnis


Dalam ilmu ekonomi, bisnis adalah suatu organisasi yang menjual barang atau jasa kepada konsumen atau bisnis lainnya, untuk mendapatkan laba. Secara historis kata bisnis dari bahasa inggris business, dari kata dasar busy yang berarti "sibuk" dalam konteks individu, komunitas, ataupun masyarakat. Dalam artian, sibuk mengerjakan aktivitas dan pekerjaan yang mendatangkan keuntungan.
Dalam ekonomi kapitalis, dimana kebanyakan bisnis dimiliki oleh pihak swasta, bisnis dibentuk untuk mendapatkan profit dan meningkatkan kemakmuran para pemiliknya. Pemilik dan operator dari sebuah bisnis mendapatkan imbalan sesuai dengan waktu, usaha, atau kapital yang mereka berikan. Namun tidak semua bisnis mengejar keuntungan seperti ini, misalnya bisnis koperatif yang bertujuan meningkatkan kesejahteraan semua anggotanya atau institusi pemerintah yang bertujuan meningkatkan kesejahteraan rakyat. Model bisnis seperti ini kontras dengan sistem sosialistik, dimana bisnis besar kebanyakan dimiliki oleh pemerintah, masyarakat umum, atau serikat pekerja.
Secara etimologi, bisnis berarti keadaan dimana seseorang atau sekelompok orang sibuk melakukan pekerjaan yang menghasilkan keuntungan. Kata "bisnis" sendiri memiliki tiga penggunaan, tergantung skupnya — penggunaan singular kata bisnis dapat merujuk pada badan usaha, yaitu kesatuan yuridis (hukum), teknis, dan ekonomis yang bertujuan mencari laba atau keuntungan. Penggunaan yang lebih luas dapat merujuk pada sektor pasar tertentu, misalnya "bisnis pertelevisian." Penggunaan yang paling luas merujuk pada seluruh aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh komunitas penyedia barang dan jasa. Namun definisi "bisnis" yang tepat masih menjadi bahan perdebatan hingga saat ini
